Fugitive Recovery Agent

Company Overview

We are a fast-growing bail bond company seeking a highly skilled and self-directed Fugitive Recovery Agent (Bounty Hunter) to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who are disciplined, resourceful, and capable of working independently in high-responsibility situations.

Compensation

• $600 weekly base (contractor pay)
• $100–$200 per successful apprehension (pickup)
• Gas card provided

Position Type

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Flexible schedule based on operational needs

Key Responsibilities

• Locate and apprehend bail fugitives in a safe and lawful manner
• Conduct skip tracing using databases, investigative techniques, and fieldwork
• Perform surveillance and gather actionable intelligence
• Interview associates, references, and relevant contacts to obtain information
• Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of activities
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in skip tracing and fugitive recovery
• Level III or Level IV Security License, OR
• Licensed Private Investigator (PI)
• Strong investigative and interviewing skills
• Ability to assess risk and operate in dynamic environments
• Must have access to personal equipment (vehicle, communication tools, etc.)
• Excellent situational awareness and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Work Environment & Expectations

• Field-based role requiring travel and flexible hours
• Work may involve evenings, weekends, and on-call availability
• High level of professionalism and discretion required at all times
