JOB SUMMARY:
Mason Companies Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory. The Cycle Counter will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers. The cycle Counter will also assist the fulfillment team members and Customer Service teams in locating materials.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES:

  • Perform daily cycle counts to ensure that all inventory is properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory
  • Assist in researching inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.
  • Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.
  • Responsible for answering Customer Service, Fulfillment, and Sourcing inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in updating dims and weights for all materials in the STEP database.
  • Be able to drive the order picker and other warehouse equipment carefully and safely to perform the cycle routing role as defined.
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling inventory practices to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining product identification and location programs.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform returns and shipping position functions as requested.
  • Attend all department and company meetings as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Associates degree in business administration or Business analytics
  • At least 1 year of related inventory and/or material handling experience in fulfillment environment
  • At least 1 year of experience using an ERP (Oracle EBS) system to find, troubleshoot, and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Mature PC skills with the ability to navigate from one screen to another. Microsoft Office – Word and Excel knowledge
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in the counting, researching and root cause analysis of Mason inventories.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Requires continuous standing and frequent walking.
  • Wearing the fall arrest harness if using Stock picker to conduct audits
  • Requires frequent twisting, stooping/bending at the waist and squatting.
  • Requires normal hearing and sight on a continuous basis.
  • Ability to manipulate objects on a continuous basis with one and/or both hands.
  • Ability to frequently push and pull up to 15 pounds, with occasional heavy pushing and pulling of fully loaded carts and palletized items up to 50 pounds.
