Fulfillment & Inventory Operations Specialist

Position Summary:

The Fulfillment and Inventory Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient management of order processing, inventory, and warehouse operations. This role integrates hands-on operational duties with the use of digital systems, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) for business operations, customer relationship management (CRM) for client data, and electronic data interchange (EDI) for secure order and shipment communication.

The coordinator will oversee daily e-commerce and wholesale orders, maintain inventory records, coordinate shipping and logistics, support purchasing, and contribute to process improvements. The position requires a detail-oriented, organized professional capable of balancing operational tasks with system-based management in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create finished product to fulfill orders.
  • Manage daily order fulfillment for e-commerce and wholesale (B2B) accounts.
  • Process and ship large PO orders, ensuring compliance with vendor and EDI requirements.
  • Responsible for meeting daily shipping accuracy and quotas.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, mail, and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for finished goods, packaging, and raw materials.
  • Organize warehouse and storage areas for efficiency and traceability.
  • Support production and ordering as needed — including raw material tracking and purchasing.
  • Enter and update data in ERP, CRM, and fulfillment systems (Shopify, ShipStation, etc.).
  • Coordinate logistics and freight carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL).
  • Create and maintain SOPs for consistent processes and workflow improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate inventory and smooth fulfillment.
  • Handle customer service issues for missing, damaged, or delayed shipments.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Process-oriented mindset — loves efficiency, accuracy, and structure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing operations (food or consumer goods preferred).
  • Experience using ERP, CRM, and EDI systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and logistics coordination.
  • Experience with food manufacturing or regulated product environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of Shopify, Ship Station, or similar systems, preferred.
  • Familiarity with vendor compliance and EDI shipping requirements preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, which may include varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching to perform warehouse and fulfillment tasks efficiently.

Schedule:

● Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Work Location:

In person, on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
