Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee all financial aspects of our showroom and design operations. The position requires the ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all bookkeeping tasks. Experience of 5 years+ is required.

Key Responsibilities

· Accrual Accounting: Maintain GAAP standards to ensure accuracy of income and expense transactions. Reconcile a bank statement and credit card statement.

· Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, and income statements.

· Process Payroll for all employees of our small office including filing and paying employment taxes and 401k maintenance.

· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable including all data entry.

· Manage and file sales tax. Current knowledge and experience with home-rule sales tax requirements and remittance required.

· Internal Controls: Maintain established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

· Compliance: Manage Subchapter S Corporate structure and ensure ongoing tax compliance, working with external tax accountants for annual tax return.

· Strategic Analysis: Using KPI’s to provide business and financial analysis to support profitability and business development initiatives.

· Business administration: Maintain records and digital files and additional business responsibilities. Renewal of Sales Tax Licenses, Insurance Premiums, periodic reports, software renewals, subscription renewals, etc.

· QuickBooks Desktop maintenance and backups

Required Qualifications and Skills

· Proven experience as a Full-Service Bookkeeper with similar level responsibilities

· Associate’s degree in accounting or 5 years+ job experience

· High proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite

· Understanding of GAAP and Full Cycle Accounting

· Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills

· Dependable with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with current team and customers
