Full Charge Bookkeeper/ Office Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager (with 5+ years of experience) to oversee all aspects of financial record-keeping and office operations. This dynamic role combines comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities with administrative management, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, compliance with accounting standards, and smooth daily office functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, proficiency in various accounting software, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries using accounting software.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Conduct detailed account reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee ADP payroll processing, tax filings, and related reporting requirements while maintaining meticulous records.
  • Maintain organized financial records for audits, governmental reporting, and internal review purposes.
  • Supervise administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, coordinating vendor relationships, and supporting team communication.
  • Assist with budgeting processes, financial analysis, and cost control initiatives to support organizational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant financial policies and procedures while continuously seeking process improvements for efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • General knowledge of GAAP standards, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation techniques, and general ledger management.
  • Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately using 10-key typing skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, account analysis, budgeting, and financial report writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
