Blacklist Industries LLC is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager to support the financial, administrative, and operational needs of a fast-moving live event production labor company.

This is not a typical 9–5 office position. Our company operates in the live events, production, staging, rigging, and labor staffing industry, where schedules, clients, projects, and priorities are constantly changing. The right candidate must be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic business environment.

We are looking for someone with the experience and confidence to manage bookkeeping, office administration, payroll coordination, vendor/client records, invoicing support, and internal company organization with minimal hand-holding.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Full-charge bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking
  • Invoice preparation, review, and client billing support
  • Payroll coordination and labor cost tracking
  • Bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
  • Maintaining vendor, client, employee, and subcontractor records
  • Organizing receipts, expenses, job files, and project documentation
  • Supporting office administration and internal business operations
  • Assisting with insurance, certificates, compliance documents, and company records
  • Coordinating with ownership, payroll providers, accountants, clients, and vendors
  • Helping maintain accurate job costing and project financial records
  • Creating and improving office systems, procedures, and workflows

Ideal Candidate:

  • Mid-level to senior-level bookkeeping and office management experience
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, and reconciliations
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, payroll platforms, and general office software
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-traditional business environment
  • Professional communication skills with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and capable of handling confidential financial information
  • Experience with labor staffing, construction, production, entertainment, or service-based businesses is a plus

Important Note About the Role:

Blacklist Industries LLC does not operate like a traditional office. Our clients are dynamic, our schedules are dynamic, and our workload can shift quickly based on active productions, labor calls, payroll deadlines, invoices, and client needs.

This position requires someone who understands that flexibility, urgency, accuracy, and professionalism are essential to keeping the company running properly.

Compensation:

Compensation will be based on experience, skill level, availability, and overall fit for the position.
