Full Line Technician

Location: Little Canada, MN

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (no evenings or weekends)

Looking for a hands-on role where your mechanical skills make a real impact? Tri-State Bobcat is hiring a Full Line Technician with a focus on small engines to join our service team in Little Canada, MN.

In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of equipment-from electric and 2-stroke lawn tools to compact diesel construction equipment. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with your hands, and seeing a job through from diagnosis to repair, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive shop environment.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, service, and repair small engine equipment, including 2-stroke and electric, from our full line of products including Bobcat, Stihl, and Toro


• Perform maintenance and repairs on compact construction and grounds equipment, including diesel units


• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems


• Complete routine maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, and part replacements


• Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, and parts used


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area


• Communicate with the service team regarding repair timelines and parts needs

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on small engines or outdoor power equipment


• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently


• Experience with diesel equipment or compact construction equipment is a plus


• Basic computer skills for service documentation


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment


• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship


• Valid driver's license
