What you’ll do

• Design and implement scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and React Express.
• Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Manage database interactions using MySQL and SQL to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Utilize version control systems like GitHub and SVN for effective code management.
• Optimize application performance by implementing best practices in web development and IT infrastructure.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications across various platforms, including Linux.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies such as Quantum engineering to enhance application capabilities.

Basic qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Python, C#, Java, C++, and VBA.
• Strong understanding of application development principles and software development life cycle (SDLC).

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deploying applications.
• Familiarity with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for secure application access management.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies to foster collaboration and efficiency within teams.
