This role is ideal for interns and freshers looking for hands-on, real-world experience. You will actively manage a live WordPress website—setting it up on a server, customizing a ready-made theme, and updating it based on business needs—while also building working POCs using Next.js, Vercel, and OpenAI APIs. This is a practical, execution-focused role where you ship real outputs, learn fast, and gain exposure to both web operations and early-stage product development.
Key Responsibilities
1. WordPress Website
- Set up WordPress on a web server (hosting, DNS, SSL, environments)
- Install, configure, and customize ready-made themes
- Manage and update pages, blogs, landing pages, and content layouts based on business needs
- Configure and maintain plugins for SEO, performance, security, backups, and forms
- Ensure uptime, security hygiene, and regular maintenance
- Optimize performance (caching, image optimization, Core Web Vitals)
- Implement SEO fundamentals (meta tags, redirects, schema, sitemap)
- Integrate analytics, CRM forms, email tools, and tracking pixels
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with hosting providers or vendors when required
2. Rapid Prototyping
- Build quick prototypes
- Use Next.js + Vercel for fast iteration and deployment
- Integrate OpenAI APIs for AI-driven workflows and automation
- Convert abstract ideas into working demos with functional UI
- Iterate quickly based on feedback; prioritize learning and validation
- Prepare shortlisted POCs as demo-ready assets
- Refactor selected POCs for stability and future product integration

Required Experience
- Proven experience managing WordPress websites end-to-end
- Comfort with hosting panels, domains, DNS, and SSL
- Experience customizing ready-made WordPress themes and builders
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress plugins and best practices
- Hands-on experience building web apps with Next.js
- Experience consuming and integrating APIs (including AI APIs)
- Ability to translate loosely defined ideas into working demos
- Practical understanding of Git-based workflows and deployments
Nice to Have
- Basic UI/UX sensibility
- Familiarity with performance monitoring and SEO tools
- Exposure to headless CMSs or modern frontend stacks
- Prior experience building internal tools or experimental products
