Full Stack Engineer

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient software solutions that integrate artificial intelligence to enhance the company’s operations in the agri-food industry. This role involves creating innovative tools to support activities and initiatives across the organization, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with its commitment to sustainable practices.

Scope of Accountability

• Deliver robust and user-friendly applications that streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and integrate with AI tools to enable predictive analytics and process optimization.
• Develop and deploy innovative, AI-integrated software solutions that optimize operational efficiency, enhance sustainability, and drive the company’s growth objectives.

Main Tasks

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and deliver fully functional, robust, and user-friendly applications that improve decision-making processes and streamline operational workflows.
• Design APIs and microservices to enable seamless integration with existing systems and third-party applications.
• Create intuitive user interfaces that support AI-driven insights for production, inventory management, and sustainability metrics.
• Ensure deployed solutions are reliable, secure, and scalable, capable of handling large-scale operations and real-time data processing for production and sustainability metrics.
• Implement AI models into software solutions to drive predictive analytics, optimize processes, and enhance resource efficiency.
• Drive data analysis to generate insights that enhance product quality, optimize processes’ timelines, and improve sustainability metrics.
• Work with large datasets related to different company activities and processes, ensuring efficient data flow and storage.
• Act as a liaison between the AI department and operational teams, ensuring the successful translation of technical solutions into business outcomes.
• Support teams with training and troubleshooting to maximize the adoption and effectiveness of new systems.
• Identify process improvement opportunities through technology and lead the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure regular updates and maintenance of deployed applications by applying updates, addressing issues, and optimizing performance as needed.
• Identify a full stack challenge by analyzing the system, pinpointing the issue, and refining both front-end and back-end components for optimal performance.
• Develop digital tools and dashboards to monitor, measure, and report sustainability KPIs, aligning with the company’s sustainability goals.
• Provide regular reports to the AI Director, outlining the progress of ongoing projects, key performance metrics, technical challenges, and recommendations for improvements.

Required Profile

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

4+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on building and maintaining scalable web and mobile applications, of which 2 in manufacturing or food industry setting.

Proven experience in integrating AI and machine learning models into software solutions.

• Full-Stack Development: Proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies to build and maintain complete applications.
• AI and Machine Learning Integration: Ability to integrate machine learning models and algorithms into applications to drive predictive analytics and process optimization.
• Database Management: Expertise in database design and management to handle large datasets and ensure efficient data flow and storage.
• API and Microservice Design: Experience in designing and implementing APIs and microservices to ensure seamless communication between different systems and applications.
• Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud platforms to deploy scalable applications and ensure efficient cloud-based operations.
• Data Analysis: Strong skills in data analysis and visualization tools to derive actionable insights from production, supply chain, and sustainability data.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding of security protocols and best practices to ensure applications are secure, reliable, and protect sensitive data.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment of applications.
