About the Role: We are looking for a systems-minded Full-Stack Engineer who naturally leans toward backend architecture, database design, and cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for building the foundation of a highly scalable, distributed system capable of handling heavy workloads and real-time messaging. This is a role for an engineer who loves to tinker with servers, optimize databases, and build reliable deployment pipelines from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:

● Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services using FastAPI (Python) and Node.js (TypeScript).

● Architect and optimize database schemas across relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) environments.

● Implement and manage messaging queues and caching layers using Redis and RabbitMQ to ensure smooth, decoupled service communication.

● Set up and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.

● Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and deployment scripts.

● Take full ownership of system scalability, security, and independent service architecture.

Must-Haves:

● 3 years of professional software engineering experience (or 2+ years of intensive startup experience).

● Strong proficiency in backend development using FastAPI and Node.js (TypeScript).

● Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

● Experience configuring and deploying applications using Docker and AWS.

● Practical knowledge of setting up CI/CD workflows.

● Ability to learn rapidly, work independently, and adapt to shifting startup priorities.

Nice-to-Haves (Brownie Points):

● Experience with Golang.

● Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, or bare-metal server setups.

● A solid understanding of advanced server security practices.

● A history of active open-source contributions.
