Full Stack Java Developer- with ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

REQUIRED: ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE

We are hiring:

• Full Stack Java Developer with atleast 4 years of experience.
• The individual in the role is required to work on-site.

As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will play a key role across the entire software development lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on backend Java development and modern frontend frameworks. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-based applications while ensuring high performance, security, and code quality.

This role requires a hands-on developer with deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with strong experience in frontend technologies such as Angular. You should be comfortable owning end-to-end development efforts across both backend and frontend layers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Java Developer

• Engineer, design, code, debug, unit test, and assist in Quality Assurance testing of custom applications in Java
• Analyze user needs and develops software solutions in an Agile, sprint, and Jira environment. Design software or customizes existing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
• Convert project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to detailed logical work flows for coding.
• Integrate software with existing systems, develop in a team environment, and assist with Tier 3 / 4 support to operations staff along with meeting project schedules.
• Resolve customer issues with the software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

Required Skills:

• Must have full lifecycle application development experience with backend systems, including Engineering, design, coding, debugging, and unit testing applications in Java
• Must be able to integrate software with existing systems
• Must have strong development experience with JAVA
• Strong oral and written communications skills required
• Willingness to follow established development processes and procedures to include Sprint planning and code reviews
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to provide on-call operational support
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and brief comprehensive project documentation (requirements, system design, interface control documents, security, etc.)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Cloud Platform experience a plus (ServiceNow)
• Specific ServiceNow Development experience

Education Requirements:

• Prefer 4 yr degree in related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,000.00 per year
