Full-Stack Shopify Developer (Liquid, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Remote

Role Overview:
As a Shopify Developer, you’ll be responsible for building fully custom pages, themes, and features within Shopify. You’ll work with designs provided in Figma and translate them into pixel-perfect, responsive pages using Liquid, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Shopify’s ecosystem and is equally comfortable creating from scratch, refining existing themes with code, and working with third-party Shopify apps.

Responsibilities:

• Develop fully custom Shopify themes and pages from Figma designs.
• Write clean, scalable code using Liquid, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Tweak and customize existing Shopify themes to add functionality, fix issues, or improve performance.
• Build and optimize custom sections, templates, and Shopify functions.
• Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible layouts.
• Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps as needed to achieve client goals.
• Debug, maintain, and improve existing Shopify sites.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver on client requirements.
• Stay up to date on Shopify updates, new features, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Expertise in Liquid templating language and Shopify theme development.
• Strong proficiency in JSON, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Ability to translate Figma (or similar) design files into functional Shopify pages.
• Experience tweaking and customizing pre-existing Shopify themes with code.
• Comfortable integrating, customizing, and troubleshooting third-party Shopify apps.
• Experience with APIs, third-party app integrations, and Shopify custom apps is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance optimization and SEO best practices on Shopify.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Knowledge of headless Shopify builds (Hydrogen, React, etc.).
