Compensation: $30 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed

Overview / About the Family:
A family traveling to San Jose for a one-month summer stay is seeking a dependable, proactive, and experienced nanny to provide full weekday childcare support for two children, ages 8 and 4. This role is focused exclusively on childcare and creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment while the family is away from their home base. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, energetic, and comfortable caring for both school-aged and younger children in a travel-based temporary placement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-day childcare support for an 8-year-old and 4-year-old
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, outings, and structured play
• Support daily routines including meals, snacks, and transitions throughout the day
• Transport children to activities as needed
• Plan and facilitate engaging indoor and outdoor activities
• Maintain a safe, attentive, and nurturing environment at all times
• Ensure consistency, structure, and routine throughout the day
• Support positive behavior guidance and sibling dynamics

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable with full-day, Monday–Friday schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative
• Energetic, flexible, and engaging personality
• Experience in travel or temporary placements a plus
• 3-5 professional references required
