Full-Time Academic Lecturer

Job Objective: &nbsp;<br />The Bahrain Institute of Banking &amp; Finance (BIBF), Academic Studies Center, is seeking qualified part‑time lecturers to teach the following undergraduate modules:<br />&nbsp;<br /><p>&middot;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Database Applications in Business &amp; Finance<o:p></o:p></p><p><br />&middot;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Business Analytics<o:p></o:p></p><p><br />&middot;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Business Analytics: Applied Modeling &amp; Prediction (Tableau proficiency required)<o:p></o:p></p><p style="box-sizing:border-box;margin-bottom:10px;color:#92a0b3;font-family:Roboto, Tajawal-Medium;font-size:14px;background-color:#ffffff;"><br style="box-sizing:border-box;" /></p><ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"></ul><br />
Responsibilities: 1. Deliver and manage learning activities across assigned BIBF courses and related subjects.<br />2. Support the development and delivery of a high‑quality curriculum by ensuring course content and teaching methods remain current and effective.<br />3. Review and maintain course materials&mdash;including syllabi, textbooks, manuals, lecture notes, and teaching aids&mdash;in alignment with BIBF policies and academic standards.<br />4. Oversee student submissions, including assignments, case studies, and assessments; verify, evaluate, and grade all work.<br />5. Serve as an assessor or internal verifier when required.<br />6. Conduct assessments and preliminary examinations to monitor student progress.<br />7. Perform administrative duties and provide support to colleagues as needed.<br />8. Invigilate examinations in accordance with university regulations.
Requirements & Experiences: <p>1. A minimum of a Master&rsquo;s degree in one of the following fields, with a relevant Bachelor&rsquo;s degree; a PhD is preferred:</p><p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Data Science <br />&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Business Analytics <br />&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Statistics <br />&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Applied Statistics <br />&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Applied Mathematics <br />&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Business Analytics Information Systems <br />&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Computer Science<br /><br />2. At least five years of subject‑matter expertise with a broad academic background supporting effective teaching.<br />3. Three to five years of industry experience is preferred.<br />4. Membership in a relevant professional body is an advantage.</p>
