Full-Time Academic Lecturer

Job Objective: The Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF), Academic Studies Center, is seeking qualified part‑time lecturers to teach the following undergraduate modules:

• Database Applications in Business & Finance
• Business Analytics
• Business Analytics: Applied Modeling & Prediction

(Tableau proficiency required)
Responsibilities: 1. Deliver and manage learning activities across assigned BIBF courses and related subjects.
2. Support the development and delivery of a high‑quality curriculum by ensuring course content and teaching methods remain current and effective.
3. Review and maintain course materials—including syllabi, textbooks, manuals, lecture notes, and teaching aids—in alignment with BIBF policies and academic standards.
4. Oversee student submissions, including assignments, case studies, and assessments; verify, evaluate, and grade all work.
5. Serve as an assessor or internal verifier when required.
6. Conduct assessments and preliminary examinations to monitor student progress.
7. Perform administrative duties and provide support to colleagues as needed.
8. Invigilate examinations in accordance with university regulations.
Requirements & Experiences: 1. A minimum of a Master’s degree in one of the following fields, with a relevant Bachelor’s degree; a PhD is preferred:

• Data Science
• Business Analytics
• Statistics
• Applied Statistics
• Applied Mathematics
• Business Analytics Information Systems
• Computer Science

2. At least five years of subject‑matter expertise with a broad academic background supporting effective teaching.
3. Three to five years of industry experience is preferred.
4. Membership in a relevant professional body is an advantage.
