Full-Time AM Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional weekend Breakfast-Lunch Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves serving guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts, ensuring their needs are met with attentiveness and professionalism. Prior experience in restaurants or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, Micros POS
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles, but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems, Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs or more
• Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
