Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee leasing processes using OneSite property management software; conduct property tours of availlable units to prospective tenants.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other legal standards related to landlord-tenant law.
- Handle legal administrative tasks such as reviewing quotes, managing lease agreements, and maintaining accurate data entry and filing records.
- Manage conflict resolution effectively by employing strong negotiation skills and conflict management techniques to foster positive resident relationships.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions, service requests, inspections, and correspondence to support operational transparency.
- Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential properties.
- Familiarity with OneSite, or similar property management software platforms.
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law.
- Experience in legal administrative tasks such as contracts review and compliance documentation.
- Strong customer service background with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict management situations professionally while maintaining positive relationships.
- Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, and general administrative support.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
