Full-Time Assistant Preschool Teacher

Lifegate Preschool has an opportunity available to impact, lead and teach preschool age children and be a part of an amazing, caring, servant-hearted team!

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for working with young children and who loves the Lord!

Job Overview: This individual will assist the Head Teacher and be responsible for teaching students key learning experiences to help prepare them for kindergarten interweaving academics with Christian principles. They will help maintain a safe and positive classroom environment that stimulates learning and confidence when trying to master new skills. Must have good communication skills, classroom management, a willingness to collaborate, and be a team player.

Qualifications:

1. A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate OR

2. A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, education or child/youth development OR

3. An associate degree in early childhood education, education or child/youth development OR

4. A Child Development Associate Credential OR

5. A high school diploma or GED and 1500 verified clock hours of experience in organized group activities for young children as indicated by a positive reference from a former employer or supervisor
