Full-Time Assistant Teacher

Little Miracles Daycare & Preschool is a family-owned preschool focused on creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We combine hands-on learning, kindergarten readiness, and a faith-centered culture while providing exceptional care for children and families.

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Assistant Teacher to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
• Supervise and engage children through play, learning, and hands-on activities
• Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
• Help with diapering, potty training, meals, and nap routines as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and common areas
• Follow all safety, licensing, and daycare procedures
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Support both academic and Christian classroom curriculum implementation

Requirements

• Must have full-time availability between 7:00 AM–6:00 PM (shift schedules may vary based on classroom needs)
• Must be reliable with consistent attendance
• Must enjoy working with children and be able to actively engage throughout the day
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities
• Ability to pass required background checks and obtain/maintain necessary childcare requirements
• Previous childcare experience preferred but not required

This position requires flexibility based on classroom and staffing needs. We are looking for individuals who can commit to a consistent schedule and take the role seriously.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
