Full Time Babysitter/Nanny

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for our 18 month old son. This candidate MUST have experience in childcare.

This role will be inside the family's home. The mother works from home and will be present during the day. We're looking for a nanny to work 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, likely 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Additionally, we will be welcoming a newborn in August/September! This means this role will expand to include taking care of an infant after that time. As a note: the parents will both have parental leave for approximately a month after the baby is born and will likely need limited help during that time. After, however, the nanny will continue as normal.

We want this Babysitter/Nanny to feel welcome in our home! Taking care of our son is a big responsibility and it's important to us that you feel supported.

Responsibilities

• Following a schedule with regards to eating, napping, and playtime. The individual in this role must be diligent about following the schedule.
• Communicating effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.
• Ensuring the safety of the child at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
• Making food, light cleaning, cleaning/organizing all the children's toys.
• Walking to the local park and supervising the child while playing
• Driving the child to playtime or children's classes

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or childcare is REQUIRED .
• Certification in First Aid or CPR is mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
