Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
• Handle food preparation tasks, including assembling food items and maintaining food safety standards.
• Operate POS systems and complete transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and balancing registers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including drink handling stations and seating areas.
• Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and food preparation standards in a café or food service setting.
