Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Full Time Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. Our bar features 12 bar seats in addition to cocktail tables on the patio. In this role, you’ll be the face of our bar, mixing drinks, serving food, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are looking for either a full time candidate to work some bar and some serving shifts, or a candidate to work weekends plus 2 weekday night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Sawa standards
• Take food and drink orders accurately while providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently during your shift.
• Assist in serving food during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to food handling, beverage service, and alcohol consumption.

Requirements

• Familiarity with a full spirit bar, wine, classic cocktails, and craft bar technique.
• Proficiency with POS systems, Toast preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during volume and non-volume hours.
• Ability to work well with others, adapt to our bar practices, and work at the direction of our bar manager.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, approachable demeanor.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
