Lifestyle Support Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Behavioral Specialist to join our human services team. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs), as well as overseeing behavioral support services for individuals diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Mental Health diagnoses (ID/MH) residing in community residential group home settings.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
• Developing and monitoring Behavioral Support Plans and safety plans
• Collecting and analyzing behavioral data
• Providing 1:1 sessions with individuals served
• Conducting staff training and ongoing behavioral support
• Collaborating with individuals, families, Supports Coordinators, and external professionals
• Completing monthly and quarterly reports
• Observing and supporting individuals in residential settings
• Assisting with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies

Lifestyle Support Services provides all necessary electronic equipment, including a laptop, cell phone, and company vehicle.

Schedule:

Traditional work hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; however, non-traditional hours may be required based on crisis situations or the needs of the individuals supported.

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants must possess a recognized degree, certification, or license relating to behavioral support and meet one of the following requirements:

• A Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or Gerontology
• A Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License
• A bachelor's degree and work under the supervision of a qualified professional.

Additional qualifications include:

• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities preferred
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license required
• Must obtain ACT 33 and ACT 34 clearances

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual salary range: $50,000 – $68,000, based on experience
• Sign-on bonus available for new employees after 30 days of employment
