Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Must have current certification or registration as a medical assistant with an accredited body such as AAMA or AMT.

Newly hired employees will be expected to pass a drug and background screening before their first shift begins.

Busy 9 clinician family practice looking for customer service oriented, full-time medical assistants. Mostly daytime hours. One evening per week until 8:00 pm. and approximately one Saturday per month from 8:30 to 3:00. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Rooming patients
• Obtaining vital signs
• Obtaining history from patients
• Phlebotomy
• Administer any injections and vaccinations
• UA
• Spirometry
• EKG
• Holter monitor application
• Continuous glucose monitor application
• Vision screening
• Hearing screening
• Assist physician with lesion removal
• EMR documentation

Candidate must have computer skills and be prepared to deliver 5 star customer service. The practice currently sees 150-200 patients per day. This is a fast paced job. Qualified candidates must be able to multi-task while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.

Must be reliable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
