Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Overnight Childcare Provider to join our team and make a meaningful difference in children's lives. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, calm, and nurturing environment during overnight hours for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. Your primary goal will be to ensure their well-being, support healthy sleep routines, and respond attentively to their needs throughout the night.

Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Duties

• Supervise children in a safe and caring overnight environment.
• Monitor and support healthy sleep routines, including bedtime preparation and nighttime wake-ups.
• Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing as needed during the night.
• Comfort and reassure children who wake during the night, helping them return to sleep.
• Support toddlers with overnight needs, including bathroom assistance and emotional comfort.
• Assist children with disabilities by adapting care to meet their individual overnight needs.
• Maintain a clean, quiet, and organized childcare space.
• Perform light cleaning or preparation tasks during downtime (e.g., sanitizing toys, preparing materials for the next day).
• Communicate effectively with parents and daytime staff regarding overnight events, concerns, or updates.
• Follow established routines and behavior management strategies to ensure a calm and secure environment.

Skills

• First aid certification is preferred.
• Experience working with people with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong background in infant care and toddler care, especially during overnight hours.
• Knowledge of sleep routines and nighttime childcare best practices.
• Proven experience with children through babysitting, nannying, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Understanding of childhood development and age-appropriate care.
• Ability to remain alert, patient, and responsive throughout overnight shifts.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with parents and team members.
• A calm, nurturing demeanor that promotes comfort, trust, and safety during nighttime care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
