We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full Time Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health for patients of all ages.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
- Assist the dentist during procedures such as examinations, restorations, and other dental treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term oral health habits.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing medical records securely.
Experience
- Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix is essential for efficient documentation and scheduling. Knowledge of DTX imaging and CBCT is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical coding standards.
- Strong knowledge of periodontal charting and maintenance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to perform chairside duties confidently while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology to ensure compliance with privacy laws and accurate recordkeeping.
- Experience with EMR systems, medical imaging techniques, vital signs measurement, and documentation review will set candidates apart. Pay: $41.67 - $52.00 per hour
