Overview
A licensed Dentist is sought to join our team, providing comprehensive dental care to our patient population. In this critical role, the individual will be responsible for a wide array of dental procedures, operating under the professional guidance of the Medical Director. A commitment to exceptional patient care, adherence to established best practices, and scrupulous compliance with all professional and regulatory standards are considered essential for maintaining the high quality of care provided. The Dentist will function as a key member of the healthcare team, contributing directly to the overall health and quality of life for all patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of dental services, encompassing both routine and non-routine procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, the provision of preventive care, such as dental cleanings and examinations; restorative procedures, including the placement of fillings and crowns; and more advanced treatments, such as extractions, root canals, and prosthetic restorations. The successful candidate will be expected to diagnose oral health conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Ensure all services provided are documented with accuracy and thoroughness. This is a critical function for the maintenance of complete patient records, which in turn ensures continuity of care and fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements. Detailed documentation of all examinations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and completed procedures is a prerequisite for patient safety and quality assurance.
- Maintain strict compliance with all facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards established by accrediting agencies. The individual will be responsible for upholding a sterile and safe clinical environment through adherence to all infection control protocols. All work is required to be in compliance with standards set forth by the Joint Commission, CMS and HHSC, and the individual will be expected to participate in all internal and external audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Shift Availability: Monday–Friday (Actual days are flexible) from 8:00AM – 5:00 PM
Requirements:
- Possession of a current license as a dentist issued by the State of Texas is mandatory.
- Active and unrestricted Texas license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
