Job Summary

BDA Construction is seeking a skilled and reliable Seasoned Remodeler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in residential remodeling, can read basic blueprints, and is capable of either leading a small crew or working independently with minimal supervision. This role involves high-quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and excellent problem-solving on a variety of projects.

Duties

• Read and interpret basic blueprints, measurements, and project instructions
• Perform framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and door/window installation
• Install and finish drywall, complete painting and general interior finishes
• Install flooring (LVP, hardwood, tile)
• Build and repair decks (framing, railing, stairs, finishes)
• Assist with basic electrical tasks (replacing fixtures, switches, outlets)
• Perform minor plumbing tasks or coordinate with licensed trades when needed
• Lead or supervise helpers on job sites when required
• Work independently and complete tasks with minimal oversight
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized job site
• Communicate job progress with project managers

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential remodeling experience required
• Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
• Strong carpentry skills and overall construction knowledge
• Ability to lead a crew or work solo
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in active construction environments
• Experience in:
• Deck building
• Flooring
• Trim and finish work
• Basic electrical
• Framing and drywall
• Strong communication, professionalism, and problem-solving skills

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Occasional overtime depending on project needs
• Pay is negotiable based on experience

Service Area

Must be able to work in Morgantown and the surrounding North Central WV region.
