Responsibilities

  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments, providing consistent, high-quality instruction tailored to each age group’s developmental needs.
  • Implement curriculum development strategies that promote early intervention, literacy education, and childhood development milestones.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and inclusive space for all children.
  • Collaborate with team members to design lesson plans that engage all children, physical education, and age-appropriate activities.
  • Support children’s social-emotional well-being by fostering communication skills and encouraging peer interactions.
  • Engage with children during daycare activities, preschool lessons, and tutoring sessions to promote learning through play and structured activities.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of each child’s progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing standards when applicable.

Requirements

  • Prior classroom experience in early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
  • Must have at least fundamentals or a child development course.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
  • Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage children in meaningful learning experiences.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy activities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly across different classrooms while maintaining high standards of childcare and education.
