Responsibilities
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments, providing consistent, high-quality instruction tailored to each age group’s developmental needs.
- Implement curriculum development strategies that promote early intervention, literacy education, and childhood development milestones.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and inclusive space for all children.
- Collaborate with team members to design lesson plans that engage all children, physical education, and age-appropriate activities.
- Support children’s social-emotional well-being by fostering communication skills and encouraging peer interactions.
- Engage with children during daycare activities, preschool lessons, and tutoring sessions to promote learning through play and structured activities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child’s progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing standards when applicable.
Requirements
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
- Must have at least fundamentals or a child development course.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage children in meaningful learning experiences.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy activities.
- Ability to adapt quickly across different classrooms while maintaining high standards of childcare and education.
