Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Full-Time and Part-time Infant and Preschool Teachers to join our early childhood education team. This role offers the opportunity to foster a nurturing learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and tailored instruction in Christ-centered facility. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. Experience with curriculum development, classroom management, and lesson planning is highly valued. Our teachers play a vital role in shaping the foundational skills of our students while ensuring their safety, welfare, and joy in learning.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and curriculum goals that go along with our Biblical curriculum.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction
- Manage daily classroom activities, including circle time, play-based learning, and structured lessons in literacy, math, physical education, and other core subjects
- Monitor and assess each child's developmental progress, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and social-emotional growth
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral notes
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student development and classroom activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Experience with curriculum development across preschool or daycare settings
- Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and other core areas
- Experience working with infants
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
- Flexibility and willingness to train in learn in all ages and classrooms
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that promotes child welfare and safety at all times
- Knowledge of childcare best practices within daycare or private school settings
