Full-Time Infant Nanny Position (Long-Term)

A warm and collaborative family is seeking an experienced, reliable nanny to care for their infant son. This is a long-term opportunity for a professional nanny who enjoys working with infants and values consistency, communication, and partnership with parents.

The family is looking for someone who is confident caring for a young baby, understands infant development, and can help maintain a calm, structured environment while remaining flexible as the child grows.

Schedule

Start Date: Part-time onboarding beginning July/August, transitioning to full-time on August 31

Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Reliability is extremely important due to the parents’ work schedules. Flexibility and clear communication around scheduling changes are appreciated when needed.

Child

The position involves caring for one infant boy.

The family values a nanny who enjoys spending time outdoors, engaging in developmentally appropriate play, and supporting healthy routines such as naps, feeding schedules, and early developmental milestones.

Activities may include:

  • Outdoor walks and playground time
  • Age-appropriate play and sensory activities
  • Supporting early learning and developmental milestones
  • Maintaining a predictable routine for naps and feeding

Responsibilities

Child-Related Duties

  • Full care for the infant during working hours
  • Preparing bottles and cleaning feeding supplies
  • Infant laundry
  • Maintaining cleanliness of nursery and play areas
  • Washing dishes related to the child
  • Tracking naps, feedings, and activities
  • Providing regular updates to parents throughout the day

The family appreciates a nanny who enjoys keeping a daily journal or communication log to share updates on routines, milestones, and activities.

Optional Household Support

If comfortable, the nanny may assist with family laundry, though this is not required.

Transportation

The nanny will occasionally take the child on outings such as walks or visits to playgrounds.

  • The nanny will use their own vehicle
  • Mileage reimbursement will be provided
  • The family will provide an appropriate car seat

Any outings or events will be communicated and approved in advance.

Household Environment

  • Home includes two cats (no care required)
  • Shoes-off household
  • Security cameras may be present in common areas

The nanny may occasionally assist with doctor visits or sick-day support.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $25–$30/hour depending on experience
