Full-time Infant Nanny | Rye, NY

A warm, respectful family in Westchester County is seeking a long-term full-time nanny to join them beginning mid-May as they settle into life with their baby. The family previously worked with a Newborn Care Specialist placed through our agency and are now ready to transition into a daytime nanny role. While they are not specifically seeking an NCS, they would love someone who brings a similar level of confidence, professionalism, and supportive guidance into a long-term position.

These first-time parents are collaborative, communicative, and genuinely kind. They value trust, clarity, and open communication, and hope to find a nanny who feels like a true teammate within the household. They appreciate caregivers who can confidently share knowledge, support developmental milestones, and help them continue growing into their roles as parents.

The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with guaranteed hours provided. The family values consistency and hopes to build a long-term relationship with someone dependable, engaging, and warm.

Responsibilities include full childcare for the infant, maintaining routines, supporting developmental milestones, engaging in age-appropriate activities, planning outings as the child grows, and handling light child-related household tasks. The family is excited about future library trips, playdates, local outings, and creating a nurturing environment centered around curiosity and connection.

The ideal candidate has strong infant experience, excellent communication skills, and a calm, supportive presence. Someone naturally collaborative who enjoys working closely with first-time parents and values professionalism paired with warmth. Up-to-date vaccinations are preferred, and familiarity with Westchester or surrounding areas is a plus.

Travel is not required, though the family may take 1–2 trips over the summer and would love someone open to joining if it feels like a good fit.

Compensation is $35+ per hour depending on experience and fit. The family is offering guaranteed hours, 2 weeks of paid vacation, and a paid trial period prior to hire.

Pay: $34.00 - $35.00 per hour
