Full-Time Interior Intermediate Designer / CAD Extraordinaire (Hospitality: Hotels)

Currently seeking a Full-Time Interior Designer/CAD Drafter to join our creative team! This is a fully remote position, with the opportunity for occasional business travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
• 2 - 4 years of professional experience in Interior Design (Commercial or Hospitality Design experience preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the Hospitality Design field
• Expert in AutoCAD and an experienced drafter
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale interior design projects
• Previous experience working with multiple franchised hotel brands
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• NCIDQ Certification preferred
• LEED Certification preferred
• Applicants must be located in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawing sets using AutoCAD software for hospitality brand prototypes, custom boutique hotels, and luxury residential designs.
• Produce design deliverables through all phases of design, from initial Programming to final Construction Documents
• Produce FF&E Specifications for projects
• Compile and send FF&E Sample Packages for clients
• Track billable time daily per design project
• Create attractive designs and layouts for new construction and renovation properties.
• Prepare Schematic & Design Development presentations for clients
• Create 2D rendered floor plans using Adobe Suite programs
• Coordinate 3D interior renderings with outside contractors
• Maintain industry knowledge to stay relevant
