Job Description Summary
The lab technician will work with senior lab technicians, lab scientists, and clinical staff to perform general lab duties including clinical specimen processing, laboratory experiments processing of patient samples, patient biospecimen annotation and tracking.

Job Description

The responsibilities include that the individual will perform various clinical laboratory assignments, in accordance with standard practices and procedures. This position requires organizational skills and basic lab skill (pipetting, solution preparation, etc). The individual will maintain and organize tissue biospecimens, lab inventory and general lab maintenance activities. The individual will help plan experiments and perform the experiments with exquisite documentation and maintenance of all necessary records for regulatory compliance and publication.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in chemistry or biology and 1 to 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
