Full-Time Live-In Nanny (Infant Care, Travel-Ready, Long-Term Role)

Location: United States (extensive domestic and international travel required)
Schedule: Full-time, live-in. Guaranteed hours, over-time pay

About the Family

A warm and welcoming family is seeking a professional, experienced, and nurturing Full-Time Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional care for their 11-month-old child. The family values a calm, flexible, and team-oriented approach and is looking for someone who will grow with them long-term as they plan to expand their family in the coming years.

This position offers the opportunity to travel extensively—both domestically and internationally—with stays of up to 3 months at a time.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for an 11-month-old child
• Maintain consistency with family routines and parenting philosophies
• Support child development through age-appropriate play, milestone tracking, and daily routines
• Plan and engage in stimulating, Montessori-inspired activities (experience a plus)
• Assist with baby-led weaning and introduction to solid foods
• Provide overnight care as needed and maintain flexibility for changing schedules
• Travel with the family (domestic and international) for extended periods
• Light meal prep for the child and occasional family assistance
• Maintain child-related areas, supplies, and organization
• Communicate clearly and proactively with parents, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate parenthood
• Ensure safety at all times—must be a confident, strong swimmer for water-related activities
• Provide safe transportation when needed (clean driving record required)

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience with infants and toddlers
• Experience caring for two children preferred, as the family plans to grow
• Long-term career nanny seeking a stable, lasting position
• Up to date on all major vaccinations
• Legal to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• English-speaking; bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Calm, “go-with-the-flow” demeanor and adaptable nature
• Comfortable guiding and supporting first-time parents
• Confident to take charge and lead
• Dog-friendly (family has a dog)
• Comfortable with travel for up to 3 months at a time
• Comfortable providing overnight care and flexible daytime support
• Family seeks a mature and experienced nanny that does not need guidance
