Full-Time Live-Out Nanny/Family Assistant

Job Overview
We are a family of five seeking a professional, full-time nanny/assistant to join us as our trusted family assistant. The ideal candidate is highly experienced, reliable, and discreet, with extensive knowledge of New York City, venues, services, and neighborhoods. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic family schedule.

Duties

• Assist in the management of the family's calendar and ensuring that the family members are picked up from school and get to various appointments, events, and activities across NYC.
• Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Run errands throughout the day either by foot, public transport, or by car, depending on location.
• Oversee all of the household shopping from groceries to supplies to any speciality items for events.
• Develop a weekly menu and find recipes that provide the family with a healthy and varied menu plan.
• Adapt to last-minute schedule changes with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Anticipate logistical needs and proactively plan errands based on the scheduling.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of nannying or PA experience in NYC.
• Excellent knowledge of New York City venues.
• Clean driving record and valid New York driver’s license.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy.
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varying hours within a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional evening or weekend needs when needed.
