Description:
A warm, thoughtful Upper West Side family is seeking a compassionate and experienced NCS or infant nanny to support their first-time mom and 4-month-old daughter during a sensitive postpartum period. This is a collaborative, hands-on role focused on feeding support, gentle care, and emotional attunement.
The Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts with flexible start times (9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, or 11am-7pm)
- 2 month initial term (8 weeks), with potential to adjust as baby progresses
Start Date:
The Child(ren):
- One beautiful baby girl, almost 4 months old
- She is both nursed and bottle fed and is currently navigating feeding challenges related to oral ties.
- Mom has been working with a speech language pathologist/feeding specialist and baby will likely undergo a tongue-tie release in the coming weeks.
- This little one benefits from calm, responsive, and gently paced feeding support.
The Family:
- This is a warm, thoughtful family seeking a true team player to support a first-time mother and her infant during a tender postpartum period.
- Mom is hands-on, communicative, and currently experiencing some anxiety as feeding challenges are being addressed.
- She values collaboration, patience, and gentle support, and will be present in the home.
- Dad works full days outside the home.
- The family has a bi-weekly housekeeper and maintains a tidy, organized home.
- a 25lb delightful Doodle Dog completes the family!
The Role:
- This position is ideal for an experienced NCS or infant nanny who is confident supporting feeding plans and post-procedure care.

Responsibilities include:
- Supporting breast and bottle feeding per the family’s plan
- Assisting with pumping logistics, bottle prep, and cleaning (family has a bottle washer)
- Infant laundry, nursery organization, and general baby-related tidying
- Supporting stretches and exercises following a potential oral tie release
- Pitching in with light common-area support when time permits
- No cooking, driving, or swimming is required.
- Comfort working alongside mom and patience adjusting support as she gradually steps back is essential.
- Daily walks for fresh air and sunshine!

- Up-to-date Tdap, MMR, and COVID vaccinations are required.
The Pay & Benefits:
- $45-$50 per hour, depending on experience
