Full-Time Long-Term Nanny – Greenwich, CT

A first-time family relocating from Hoboken to Greenwich is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny for their infant son (born November 2025). They are looking for someone who truly wants to grow with their family for many years.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am–6pm (45 guaranteed hours). The start date is flexible within a two-week window in early March. An earlier start in Hoboken to help bridge care prior to the move is optional and open for discussion.

Compensation begins at $30+/hour, flexible based on experience. Candidates open to light household support beyond child-related tasks may be considered at a higher rate. The family offers guaranteed hours, two weeks paid vacation, five sick days, paid federal holidays, and on-the-books payroll.

At start, the baby will be approximately 3–4 months old and follows a predictable routine of bottles (pumped breastmilk), naps, floor time, and stroller walks. The parents value developmentally appropriate care, independent play, and are seeking someone confident in supporting milestones and introducing solids when age appropriate.

Mom works part-time from home and is looking for a collaborative partnership. She may occasionally join for a bottle or class, but wants the nanny to feel autonomous and confident leading the day. The family prefers structure, proactive communication, and advance notice for schedule changes whenever possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Full infant care
• Maintaining routine and supporting developmental milestones
• Baby-related laundry and organization
• Preparing bottles and, in time, simple child meals
• Light child-related housekeeping (tidying play areas, wiping counters, emptying dishwasher if needed)
• Letting out the family’s friendly 50 lb shepherd mix into the fenced yard 1–2 times daily

The home is a three-level house with driveway parking. Driving will be required for outings and classes, so a nanny with their own car is strongly preferred. Gas and child-related expenses will be covered. Ability to stay overnight during inclement weather is a plus.

The family spends several non-consecutive weeks each summer at their New Jersey shore home and would love a nanny willing to travel with them. International travel once per year is a bonus but not required.
