Full Time Math Teacher

Cardinal O’Hara High School is looking for a dedicated full-time Mathematics teacher for our co-educational Catholic high school. The successful candidate will have strong curriculum development skills and an ability to foster creativity in students; a broad knowledge in all aspects of mathematics instruction and classroom management techniques; and the ability to integrate faith and Catholic social teaching throughout the curriculum.

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the school's curriculum goals as well as the individual needs of each student.
• Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
• Evaluate student's academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare reports relating to student's progress.
• Communicate with parents, if applicable, through conferences and other means to discuss student progress and interpret the school program.
• Identify student needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve problems that may arise.
• Participate in faculty and department meetings

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
