About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our in-person clinic team.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, emotionally intelligent, detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.

We are looking for someone who notices what needs to be done, someone who genuinely cares about patients, and someone who wants to contribute to a positive, high-functioning clinic culture.

This is not a “clock in and coast” position. We are looking for someone who values ownership, professionalism, teamwork, and meaningful work.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs
  • Perform in-house lab draws/phlebotomy (or willingness to learn for strong candidates)
  • Assist physician with patient care and procedures
  • Answer phones professionally, warmly, and efficiently
  • Manage patient communication through phone/text/EMR messaging
  • Triage patient concerns appropriately
  • Coordinate referrals, records, labs, and follow-up tasks
  • Help maintain clinic organization, cleanliness, and flow
  • Support a calm, welcoming, elevated patient experience
  • Assist with administrative/front desk responsibilities as needed

Preferred Skills (Pluses, Not Required)

  • Phlebotomy experience
  • IV placement / IV therapy skills
  • Social media management or content creation experience
  • Experience with Direct Primary Care, wellness, hormone therapy, or functional medicine
  • Experience managing patient communication platforms and EMRs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience
  • Experience in a primary care or outpatient setting
  • Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with technology, EMRs, and patient messaging systems
