Full-Time Medical Assistant & Receptionist - Smyrna and/or Roswell

About us

We are an inclusive membership-based direct primary care (DPC) clinic with 3 offices throughout the Atlanta area (Smyrna, Roswell, & recently opened Midtown). Our practice is looking to hire a Full-time employee who will work 4 days a week. For our staffing needs, we are looking for someone to cover either: 1) Mon/Wed-Fri 8a-5p in our Smyrna office, 2) Tue-Fri 9a-5p in our Roswell office, or 3) Preferably, 2 days per week in each office.

We would prefer & give higher priority to hiring a medical assistant (MA) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) with 3+ years of clinical experience to fulfill front & back office. However, we would be willing to 1) train a Phlebotomist or EMT (with 1+yrs of experience) in MA skills OR 2) train individuals taking a gap between undergrad & a higher degree (MD/PA/etc.). Please note we can not take applicants who are currently in undergrad whose school hours don't align.

Responsibilities

  • Greets patients and visitors with a smile at the front desk.
  • Enthusiastically answers incoming telephone lines & able to explain our model.
  • Follows up on new patient inquiries via EMR, email, voicemail, etc.
  • Attention to detail in filing paperwork and coordinating patient care.
  • Works will with others and cherishes an opportunity to teach others on the team.
  • Maintains a neat, clean and orderly appearance throughout the clinic.
  • Kindly administers IM/SQ/and PO medications and vaccines.
  • Eagerly performs diagnostic and point of care tests (eg. EKG, phlebotomy, rapid flu)
  • Administrative duties, CRM- Hubspot, Social Media Posting, New Patient Outreach.
  • Attention to detail with the daily schedule.
  • Calmly and knowledgeably provides patient teaching, education and support.
  • Participates as an active care team member across multiple disciplines.
  • Assists with social media content & inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Active MA or LPN license in Georgia OR 3+ years experience in clinical setting
  • CNA or Phlebotomist with 1+ years experience looking to be trained in MA skills
  • College graduate taking a gap year before professional school looking to be trained
  • Professional integrity and reliable work ethic.
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Optimistic and enthusiastic.
  • Compassionate, kind, and open-minded.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Clinical Receptionist Experience (Preferred)
  • Bilingual-Spanish (Preferred)
  • Sales Experience (Preferred)

Shift/Schedule: 4 days/week. Please note, we are seeking a candidate who can pick-up occasional shifts at our other locations as scheduling needs arise.

Expected hours: 32-35 hours per week

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Medical receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Taking Vitals, Phlebotomy, IM Injections: 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • MA or LPN (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Required)
