Full-time mobile mental health provider

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards, to determine individual treatment needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to each client’s condition.
  • Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to de-escalate emergencies effectively while ensuring safety for clients with mental health crises or behavioral challenges.
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on mental health counseling, grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, special educators, and medical professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and accurate medical records while utilizing telehealth platforms for remote service delivery.
  • Engage in clinical research activities and data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to ongoing behavioral health studies.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in one of the following fields:

  • Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Clinical Psychology

Must hold one of the following licenses:

  • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT-A (Associate Marriage & Family Therapist), LSW (Licensed Social Worker), and independent licenses
  • 1–2 years clinical experience preferred
  • Experience with children and families preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between client locations
  • Expertise in various therapeutic modalities including behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology support, crisis management techniques, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering services remotely while maintaining engagement and confidentiality.
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy services
  • Deliver in-person sessions in homes, schools, and community settings
  • Complete all clinical documentation within 48 hours of service
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with agency, state, and insurance requirements
  • Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings
  • Maintain professional boundaries with clients, families, and external partners
  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding scheduling, attendance, and client needs

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000/year- $70,000.00 (paid bi-weekly)
  • 1-hour paid lunch daily
  • Mileage reimbursement provided
  • Clinical supervision provided at no cost
  • NHSC Loan Repayment Eligible Site (up to $50,000–$75,000 loan forgiveness)

Example of an ideal Work Schedule (40 Hours/Week) (1 early day and 1 late day is required)

  • Monday: 12 PM – 8 PM
  • Tuesday: 11 AM – 7 PM
  • Wednesday: 1 PM – 7 PM
  • Thursday: 1 PM – 7 PM
  • Friday: 7 AM – 3 PM
  • Includes 1-hour paid lunch daily

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
