Job description

A professional property management company is seeking a full-time Multi-Site Community Property Manager to manage a 93-unit portfolio located throughout East County, and Golden Hills. This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations. To be successful, you must balance fiduciary responsibilities with the needs of our residents.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Actively participate in the development and implementation of an aggressive leasing plan designed to reach benchmarks within a scheduled timeframe

- Maintain a High Occupancy level by staying informed of current market standards, understanding competitive pricing, and utilizing appropriate marketing resources.

- Marketing functions through accurate data recording on prospects and new residents and by keeping informed of the competition. Utilize company resources to facilitate leasing.

- Prepare lease documentation and all related paperwork.

- Collect rents and serve legal notices when necessary.

- Communicate effectively with residents. Take necessary steps to ensure resident satisfaction and resolution.

- Physically inspect the building and grounds to ensure visual appeal and safety of the property daily. Conduct final inspection of market-ready units.

- Work to make our residents’ living experience of the highest quality through effective communication and care.

Qualifications:

- Required: 3+ years or more experience in Property Management

- Required: Reliable transportation with a valid California License and proof of vehicle insurance

- Strong leasing and marketing skills

- Ability to work collaboratively and independently

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Strong negotiation skills

- Strong problem-solving skills

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong Customer Service skills

- General understanding of preventive and ongoing maintenance

- 2+ years experience with AppFolio is a plus

We Offer:

- Pay range is from $28 - $30 per hour, based on experience

- 10 paid holidays per year

- 80 hours of vacation per year and 16 hours of personal time per year
