Nanny Position in Scarsdale, NY (with Occasional Summer Travel to PA)

About Us:

We are a warm and welcoming family based in Scarsdale, NY, looking for a dedicated and caring nanny for our 16 month old son. He is a joyful little guy who loves playdates, swimming, walks, trips to the library, meals out, and simply hanging out at home.

Key Details:

• Location: Primarily in Scarsdale, NY.
• Travel: Occasional travel with our family to our vacation home in Pennsylvania (about 1 hour and 45 minutes away). Travel is mostly during the summer and will be pre-arranged. It will typically be for 1-2 weeks at a time before returning to Scarsdale. The nanny is welcome to come home for the weekends during that time. We will cover travel expenses/gas, pay an additional nightly fee and for food for the entirety of the stay in PA, and they will have their own bedroom at our house in PA.
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends required but occasional opportunities to babysit.
• Vacation: One week of vacation chosen by you, and one week chosen by us. Sick days, holidays and personal days.

General Responsibilities:

Your main role will be to provide attentive, loving care for our son. This includes engaging him in activities he enjoys, taking him on little outings, preparing meals for him, and ensuring he has a safe and happy routine.

Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for someone who is warm, reliable, and energetic—someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers and can be a calm and positive presence in our home. Experience with young children (including driving with them) is a must, as well as a valid drivers license and clean driving record, and a willingness to occasionally join us for those summer trips to Pennsylvania. We also are looking for someone who has (or is willing to get) their CPR certification and is fully vaccinated.
