Placement Nanny Position Details
Looking for a nanny that is interested in a full time, short term (6 month from May - January) in Garden Home!

Schedule:
5 days/week, Monday - Friday9:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours)
Start May 18th, or sooner for the right fit!
Both parents WFHCare is for 11 month old There is a small dog in the home. (no pet care needed unless you want to take them on a walk when you go outside, but that is absolutely not necessary or required).Typical day/routine/duties:

• Will implement developmental focused play
• Enjoys getting outside. There is a nature trail near by perfect for walks!
• Comfortable with formula bottle feeding & on solids 3x a day. All food is already prepared, just need to bring out and/or reheat accordingly
• Nap schedule: a quick 40 minute is the normal.
• Clean up after the babies meals, wash bottles etc.
• Loves to read a lot of books!
• Absolutely no screen time.

If you are:

• Gentle, Easy-Going, Patient, Caring, Fun, HIGH Energy, Positive and Reliable
• Playful and willing to connect with the child while she grows. Someone who has energy will be the best fit.
• Comfortable with a 6 month placement (to January 2027) with the possibility of extending after but looking for commitment through January only at this time.

Pay is $24-$25

Sick Time accrued and can use after 30 days
PTO accrued and can use after 90 days

We're hiring professional, responsible nannies who are passionate about working with children and ready to build strong, long-term relationships with families.

• Experienced Caregivers: Minimum 2 years of professional childcare experience (nannying, daycare, teaching, etc). 1 year of experience can be substituted for related education.
• CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain).
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with parents, follow care plans and update parents at end of day or throughout.
• Reliable and Professional: Punctual, trustworthy, and ready to work with high-quality families.
• Reliable Transportation: Willing to commute within the Portland metro and surrounding suburbs if doing on-call/maintained care with various families.
• Background Check Required: All applicants must pass a national background check.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
