Full-Time Nanny | Long-Term Opportunity

A warm, easygoing family is seeking a full-time nanny looking for a long-term placement. The family has two children: a 2-month-old infant currently who will be the nanny’s primary responsibility during the day, and an older child who attends preschool with aftercare until 6:00 PM.

On occasion, the nanny may be asked to assist with picking up the older child from preschool around 5:30 PM if the parents are unable to do so.

The family is prioritizing candidates with strong, in-depth experience caring for newborns and young infants, as well as a proven track record of long-term roles with families. They are looking for someone reliable, nurturing, and committed to building a lasting relationship with the family.

This role is perfect for someone who loves active play, meaningful conversation, and helping children come out of their shell in a gentle, encouraging way.

Schedule

• Start: Early to mid June
• Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay

• $21–$28/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time infant care
• Plan engaging activities and outings (park, library, zoo, aquarium, etc.)
• Encourage active play, creativity, and social engagement
• Support emotional development through warmth, conversation, and gentle guidance
• Follow allergy safety protocols and administer medications if needed
• Child-focused role only (no laundry, cooking, or housekeeping required unless the candidate adds hours)
• Pick up from school occasionally

The Ideal Nanny

• Warm, playful, and naturally engaging
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Confident setting gentle boundaries without being overly strict
• Experienced with children and comfortable working one-on-one
• Prior nanny experience and strong references preferred
• Looking for a long-term role (2–3 years)

Driving

• Driving is required
• Family can provide a vehicle, or nanny may use their own
• Mileage reimbursement available

Family Style

• Laid-back, loving, and hands-on
• Discipline through conversation, encouragement, and positive motivation

Additional Details
