Full-Time Nanny East Northport

A warm family in East Northport is seeking a loving, engaging nanny/mother’s helper to support their household and primarily care for their active 2.5-year-old daughter while parents work from home. The family also has a newborn, though grandparents will mainly assist with the baby during the day.

This is a wonderful role for someone patient, playful, and nurturing who understands that the toddler may need a gradual adjustment period when bonding with a new caregiver. The family is looking for someone fun, trustworthy, and experienced who can become a comforting and positive presence in the home.

Responsibilities:

• Engaging care for active 2.5-year-old (Grandparents take the newborn most days)
• Playtime, learning activities, crafts, reading, and routines
• Helping support potty training
• Assisting with snacks/meals for the toddler
• Being an extra set of hands while parents work remotely
• Helping child build comfort and trust with a caregiver outside of family
Light tidying related to the children

• Experience with toddlers required
• CPR certified
• Education, daycare, preschool, or teaching background strongly preferred
• Fun, patient, warm personality
• Fluent English required
• Must be local or reasonably close to East Northport
• Comfortable working alongside parents and grandparents in the home
• No driving of children required

Additional Details:

• Parents work in banking and work from home

• Child is shy at first and will need a gentle, patient transition period
