Full-time Nanny for Infant (contracted May- end of October)

Location: Belmont, CA (Near Salesforce)

Full-Time Nanny Needed

A family in Belmont is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and proactive nanny to care for their 4 month old baby starting mid-May. This is a full-time position with a commitment of 6 months. Ideal nanny will have studied or done coursework in childhood development/education .

Position Details:

• Location: Belmont
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 4:30 PM
• Start Date: mid-May
• Commitment: 6 months contract (baby starts daycare in November
• Pay Rate: $35 – $40 per hour, depending on experience

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: At least 7-10 years of professional nanny experience, with a strong background in infant care
• Proactive & Knowledgeable: Familiar with age-appropriate milestones and able to engage the baby in developmentally appropriate activities
• Must have current CPR and First Aid certification
• Must be willing to pass a background check or already have one
• Reliable transportation to and from work are needed
• Comfortable with a high energy dog
• Willing to travel with family for several days at a time (mostly local- Carmel, etc.) is an added bonus but not a requirement
• Languages: Proficiency in English is required and second language is added bonus

Compensation & Benefits:

• $35– $40 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for infant, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Engage infant in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Prepare and feed bottles and later (once eating solids) prepare the child's meals and snacks.
• Provide household help related to baby (infant’s laundry, washing bottles/pump parts, maintain tidy nursery/play area).
• Prepare meals and snacks once child starts solids.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
