Full-Time Nanny for One Toddler (30 hrs/week) | Long-Term Role

About the Child

The family has a 2-year-old toddler who is active, curious, and in a fun stage of exploring the world. She thrives with engagement, play, and new experiences. She has viral-induced asthma, meaning respiratory illnesses can trigger symptoms. The nanny will be trained on a clear and straightforward asthma action plan and may need to administer an inhaler as needed.

Responsibilities

The nanny will be primarily focused on providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care. This includes engaging the child in play and enriching activities, preparing meals and supporting feeding routines, diapering and potty training, and maintaining a consistent nap schedule. The role also includes light child-related household tasks such as tidying play areas, cleaning up after meals, and managing the child’s laundry.

The ideal candidate is naturally warm, affectionate, and engaging, with a genuine love for the toddler stage. They are observant and intuitive, taking time to understand a child’s interests and personality. This nanny is creative and brings energy to each day through play and exploration, while also remaining calm, reliable, and communicative. Requirements

• Up to date on Flu, Tdap, MMR, and Varicella vaccines
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Comfortable administering inhaler if needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $25-27/hr DOE
• Guaranteed hours x30 weekly
• Paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and mileage reimbursement

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
