Lone Star Nannies is seeking a professional, experienced Full-Time Nanny for a wonderful family in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a career nanny, Montessori nanny, early childhood educator, or experienced childcare professional who enjoys supporting children's growth through hands-on learning and purposeful play.

The family has a bright and curious 2-year-old daughter and is expecting a new baby next year. They are looking for a long-term nanny who can become a trusted member of their family's support system.

Nanny Schedule

• Wednesday-Friday
• 7:30 AM-5:30 PM
• Occasional schedule adjustments of up to 30 minutes with advance notice
• Long-term commitment preferred (2-5 years)

Nanny Pay & Benefits

• $25+/hour based on experience

Nanny Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for a 2-year-old child
• Create engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
• Support developmental milestones and early childhood education
• Encourage independence through Montessori-inspired learning and play
• Plan educational activities, crafts, reading, and outdoor adventures
• Maintain a screen-free environment through creative engagement
• Prepare meals and snacks for the child
• Transport the child safely to activities and outings when appropriate
• Complete children's laundry
• Organize toys, learning materials, and children's spaces
• Maintain a clean and organized environment related to childcare
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines, milestones, and daily activities

Ideal Nanny Candidate

The family is searching for a mature, dependable, and proactive nanny who genuinely loves working with young children. The ideal candidate enjoys creating structured learning opportunities, supporting child development, and becoming a trusted partner to parents.

A background in Montessori education, preschool teaching, early childhood education, or professional nannying is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Experience caring for toddlers
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and manage child-related household tasks
• Ability to pass a background check
• Two professional childcare references

Preferred Qualifications

• Montessori experience
• Preschool teaching experience
• Early Childhood Education background
• Strong swimmer preferred due to family pool
• Experience planning educational activities and enrichment opportunities
• Interest in supporting long-term child development
